LORNA SOROKO is the former Vice President of Adam Productions, based at Twentieth Century Fox and then at Warner Bros., where she was in charge of developing new TV series and films. Prior to that, she was Vice President at Citadel Productions and Robert Cooper Productions, where she headed business affairs and worked on international co-productions.
Lorna attended Harvard Law School and started out in the industry practicing entertainment law at Tri-Star Pictures and the law firm of Sidley & Austin. She has served as an expert in copyright litigation matters. On the creative side, she has writing and producing credits on HBO, Showtime and Fox, and she shared a national ACE Award in the category of writing a movie or mini-series for an HBO film that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
She has written articles for the UCLA Entertainment Law Symposium, served as an Emmy Awards judge, and she has guest-lectured and run workshops for many university film and television courses. She currently consults on screenplay and pilot development, and does some independent producing. When she’s not working on TV projects, Lorna wears another hat -- she’s a private investigator writing novels inspired by her own adventures.
